Autumn Hill
"New EP on the way!!!
Well, we haven't even officially released our album "Go On Your Way" yet, and we are already finished
tracking our brand new EP which will be entitled "Ouroboros and the World Egg".
It sounds crazy, I know,(not only the
album title) I mean why not settle down, shop our record and wait it out, but based on some helpful tips from some friends
over at Sony Music Publishing, we realize that we may have sold ourselves a bit short by way of production value.
Being
the ever prolific writers we are, we decided that it was time to explore new and more challenging territory with our fully
formed band which includes long time bassist Ryan Gertzbein and brand new drummer Jason Goldlist, who actually learned our
songs for the EP about an hour before tracking, and just nailed every track to perfection.
Having parted ways aimicably
with Studio 8, we realized we needed to step it up a notch so I had approached Norman Sabourin, a brilliant composer/producer
at Aqua Sound, a world class studio in Scarborough about taking us on for this project. After hearing the potential of the
band, he agreed to go forward, and in a crash 30 hour weekend with Norm and a secondary engineer, the tracking that marks
the future and rebirth of Autumn Hill as a band was complete.
So what can I say about Ouroboros, other than once you
hear it you will be begging for more!
The songs rock harder and sound cleaner than anything on the CD, the messages
are more intense, and there are more hooks than Uncle Tom's fishing kit. The tracklist are as follows:
Are You Ready Deadly
Innocent Freakishly Subburban Wings As Home As I'll Ever Be
" - Mike Evans
Fiction City
Once every few thousand years the stars align so perfectly that people expect magic to happen, but every time Fiction
City takes the stage magic really does happen. With their heavy guitars, clever lyrics, and catchy pop hooks, Fiction City
is destined to be the next big thing in pop punk. Singer Daniel Carson's local band recruited Sadowski to play guitar in '06.
Despite having been a band for less than a year, Fiction City has accomplished quite a bit. Within their first few months
together, they had drawn interest from labels such as Sony/BMG, and were even invited to record with them. Soon after, the
band collaborated with Steve Slobasli, lead singer of Punchline (on the Fueled by Ramen label) to produce their upcoming EP.
The band is looking forward to releasing the album, as fans have been anticipating it for some time. Currently, Fiction City
is working on their full-length album with Canada's own, Orin Isaacs (Swing Low Productions/EMI Music Publishing)
Some
say only fate can determine what the future holds, however fate has already done its part by bringing these individuals together.
Everything else they accomplish will be a result of their own drive, determination, and raw musical talent.

Zygote Music
Aah, Zygote; our mentors, our heroes, our friends. If you've heard of Beyond Rusty, there's a good chance you've heard of
Zygote. Check them out by clicking the link above.
mint.
A great band who have been on the Suburb/High School/University circuit for as long as any of us can remember. If you've
ever been to one of their shows, you know that you can count on seeing your cousins, friends, and that kid who sat behind
you in grade 9 science.
Muzo Music
An overly-talented fusion of jazz, jam, rock, and musical story-telling. These guys have never played the same show twice,
and will always put on a show. From Dr. Rich in back to Zach up front, these guys will blow your minds out - twice - before
you have to be dragged off the dance floor.
Mike Robins
An extremely local (and by local I mean 'He lives across the hall from Brandon) and talented musician; an incrdible singer,
guitar player, and songwriter who has defenitely proven that he's got what it takes to run with the big boys... (and the ladies!!)
Check this guy out, and, if you can, get his autograph before he's mondo-famous; it will be worth something, someday, soon!
199 Studios
Great guys, great gear, great environment, great results! All of Beyond Rusty's studio tracks have been recorded here. The
producer and engineer, Cory and Mike, are helpful, fun, easy-going, and damn good at what they do!
